About the Ford Bronco
The 1966 Ford Bronco was the beginning of an American icon and to this day is still one of the most popular vehicles ever produced. Created as a competitor to the International Scout and Jeep CJ, the Bronco lasted 30 years until the production stopped in 1996. Now, more than 50 years later, the well-loved piece of off-road history is coming back to life by the hands of United Pacific.

SEMA Top 10 Battle of the Builders
The classic Ford Bronco built by Maxlider Brothers Customs for United Pacific Industries 2018 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show booth placed in the “Top 10 Trucks” at the show’s Battle of the Builder competition. The top 40 SEMA Show builders were broken down into four categories with the “Top 10 Builds” named in each category.
Battle of the Builders is a competition created to honor and recognize builders at the SEMA Show for their talents, creativity and hard work. Many vehicles are entered into the competition to be judged by the greatest names in the automotive industry with the first stage of judging whittling entries down to the top 40 in the show.
“Being recognized as a Top 10 truck at SEMA for the second year in a row is a tremendous honor because we understand the enormous level of talent all of these SEMA Show vehicle builders have,” said Erik Barnlund, CEO of Maxlider Brothers Customs. “Our classic Bronco seems to capture the hearts and imaginations of everyone who comes by the booth, and we have heard stories of fathers, grandfathers, uncles or other relatives who had a Bronco back in the day and we got to relive those memories with them.”
United Pacific Industries produces Ford Bronco parts for 1966 to 1977 Broncos, which are ideal for restorations and customizations. Products include everything from under the hood options such as firewall assemblies and kits to body panels and lighting options such as LED tail lights. The parts are intended to work together, allowing builders to easily use multiple products from United Pacific when rebuilding a classic Bronco. The process used in creating the parts makes it so that the United Pacific body panels are produced so they seamlessly fit with original Bronco panels.
“United Pacific Industries selected Maxlider Brothers Customs to create our booth vehicle this year because of their 2017 SEMA Show Bronco build. When they placed in the Top 10 for Trucks last year, we knew they were the right company to build our booth vehicle this year,” said Marketing and Creative Director for United Pacific Industries, Jai Baek. “Our research and development team put in countless hours building and testing the parts to make them as close as possible to the originals. Seeing the classic Bronco place in the top 10 shows us that their effort was successful.”
