Turning Dreams Into Reality...
Long Beach native, Tony Cole is the owner of one of the most recognized Squarebody C10 trucks in Southern California. If you’re from SoCal and attend the various C10 shows throughout the year like C10 SLO Down, C10 Intervention, or Dino’s Git Down, then there’s a good chance you’ve come across his baby blue 1974 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe C10 – it’s hard to miss! In the off chance that you don’t have a clue what I’m talking about, let me give you a proper introduction…
Tony took delivery of his coveted ’74 C10 back 2012 for a whopping $2,250 after searching for deals on Craigslist – long before auction sites like Bring A Trailer or Cars & Bids were popular or even in existence. After searching for some time, he found a gem located in Lancaster. He went with a buddy to check it out and the rest was history. As soon as he took the truck home, he began tearing it down and the build commenced.
PRRDIEM has arrived.
For years prior to obtaining PRRDIEM, Tony owned a few 4x4 K5 Blazers, but always dreamed of owning a bagged C10 – now that dream has become a reality. With countless of hours of wrenching with friends, he finally had a C10 on bags – courtesy of an Accuair air management system with e-level. Tony chose to go with Viair 444C dual pack air compressors with a 5-gallon aluminum air tank. Powering the C10 is a 335CI small block Chevy V8 – built by Blueprint Engines mated to a Hydromatic TH350 gearbox.
When we first met Tony back in 2021, he was in dire need of and upgrade in the headlight department, so we hooked him up with a set of our ULTRALIT High Power LED 7" Headlights with Turn Signal & Position Light Bar. Later in 2022, he was one of the first people to receive our all-new Amber LED Front Parking Lights with SS Trim with clear lenses to pair with his LED headlights – the perfect look for his truck’s front end. We’d love for him to rock our LED sequential taillights, but we must admit that his clears look amazing against the baby blue paint. Got to give credit where credit’s due….
