'72 Chevelle for him, '67 Chevelle for her...
Our good friend Manuel “Manny” Llamas is the biggest Chevelle enthusiast we know, so when he told me that he picked up another one, it wasn’t a surprise - it was expected. He mentioned that it was a 1967 model year, red, pretty much a turn-key build, and belonged to his wife. No longer did his wife have to sit shotgun to local car meets or shows - she now drives side-by-side Manny and possibly races from a dig at stoplights (JK, we can’t confirm this nor do we condone street racing). We’d love to see husband and wife take their Chevelles to the drag strip for some 1/4 mile fun… Oh, and Manny owns a gorgeous 1972 Chevelle that recently got back from the shop with a new engine and some other upgrades. Stay tuned for more on it in the near future - *cough Retro * cough Reincarnation ooops. Anyway, back this part ’67…
The ’67 Chevelle is powered by an 283 small block Chevy with fuel delivery controlled by FiTech EFI. A custom Magnaflow exhaust system has been fabricated by Ralph’s Muffler and suspension components were supplied by Aidan American. LED headlights, LED taillights, rear view mirror, side mirrors, window cranks, were supplied by yours truly - hence Manny’s ’67 Chevelle obtaining #UPequipped status. As usual, Manny plans on keeping the car spotless inside and out and capable of cruising to local events, especially Quarantine Cruise - a monthly event that he’s highly involved in.
